This extract is take from an interview with Honor Beddoe, computer art project curator in the World and Image Department at the The Victoria and Albert Museum published in V&A Magazine Issue No 15.
Honor was very interested in my background and went on to point out that …The Victoria and Albert Museum has a responsibility to look to the future, to support the work of new innovative makers who are changing the face of contemporary craft and to be a source of inspiration. In its reappraisal of traditional techniques and material, Brouhaha is a perfect addition to the museum’s collection, encouraging us to reassess the historical view of silversmithing.
Brouhaha is on display in the Whiteley Silver Galleries and is one of four works by David Clarke in the V&A collection.
